EFTPS Electronic Federal Tax Payment System

For assistance, please contact the EFTPS Customer Service Center between the hours of 8:30 AM and 8:00 PM eastern Time at 1-800-945-8400 or 1-888-491-8082 English. For Spanish, contact 1-800-945-8600 or 1-800-945-8900.

The software is free and Windows based.

The EFTPS office says with EFTPS, you don't have to worry about those last minute dashes to the bank.  Just pick up the phone or click on your mouse, and you make a tax payment in less then 4 minutes-right from the convenience of your office.

It's easy, convenient, faster then paper, and accurate.

NOTE: This is worth checking up on because effective 12/31/99 there will be a 10% penalty levied on some companies who do not pay electronically.
